The meaning behind our new designs
Hi there!
We hope you’re doing well and get your heart warmed up by the sun after this, let’s say, particular year. At La Pimbêche, sunny or not, the creative process never stops and it’s always our priority! As you know, our designs are printed on clothes, posters and accessories, but above all that, let’s not forget that La Pimbêche is a local artist who lives her biggest dream, which is to live from her art! The clothes, the posters and the accessories are only canvas for artworks to be seen and travel to as many people as possible. And all this is possible because of you, so thanks a lot!
As La Pimbêche is always full of ideas, we are thrilled to share the deets and the creative process of the two new spring designs.

TOYS R'NT US
When you look closely at this design, you can see that the tiger is in the water... of an inground pool! Why we chose a pool? To be playful and unrealistic! The tiger is a wild animal, so seeing it in an environment in which he doesn’t belong, it’s somehow unnatural and unusual. Just like us when we are not aligned with our truth. Behind, the sun reminds us of the light at the end of the tunnel. It represents the drive of moving forward and finding solutions. The hope of finding ourselves.
As probably noticed, the slogan is a reinterpretation of the Toys R Us brand. It's a nod to our inner child, but also a reminder that we have the ability to be in control of ourselves and our lives. Anyone who is not in control of themselves is in some way a "slave" or "toy" to someone or something else. An important reminder that it’s never too late to take back your power, we can all do it!
Finally, happy faces represent our smile and joie de vivre, even during harder times. They remind us to focus on the positive and to look on the bright side (without falling into toxic positivism of course)!
This design is perfectly aligned with the theme of our latest campaign: Wild at heart. It is available in a hoodie, t-shirt, and also in a poster version!
DON'T BE A LADY, BE A LEGEND
'Don't be a lady, be a legend' is a pretty well-known tagline, but it's still so inspiring and relevant! It represents the strength and determination of wxmen. It reminds us to put our energy into the things that make us happy. To become legends. We must never forget that the best way to elevate ourselves is by elevating others at the same time. Putting others down is long gone, friend! Let's help each other out instead. Let's be strong wxmen, let's be aligned with our true selves. The world needs us to shine and show our uniqueness.
Plus, we just love the 80's vintage-inspired design! Grab a crewneck (pink and blue colors available) or a poster to add to your favorite personal place.
TIE-DYE SOCKS
Speaking of new products, Tie-Dye socks are so IN for summer! They are simply PERFECT for sneaker fans! All our socks are hand-dyed by an ethical and responsible manufacturer. By the way, it's a great gift option! It's an original idea and since everyone wears socks, you can't go wrong with that idea!
So whether you wear them to be stylish while being comfortable, or to do sports with a colorful look, Tie-Dye socks are the way to go! We have two new colors available: pink and blue, and our 3-colors one!
