How to take care of your favorite t-shirt by La Pimbêche?
You finally received your order and can't wait to wear your new Fierce Feminist and Toys RN'T Us t-shirts? Here are some tips on how to take good care of them and on how to keep our t-shirts look great for a looong time!
You can put your t-shirts by La Pimbêche in the washing machine in cold water and on a delicate cycle, ideally with other cotton garments of similar colors. Keep in mind that hotter temperatures can damage some fibers, so if in doubt, it is always better to avoid to wash your clothes in hot water. Pro tip is to turn your shirt inside out which helps to keep the design intact and help avoid rubbing with your other clothes.
Also to avoid heat, we strongly advise you NOT to put your t-shirts in the dryer. To keep them intact longer, it is better to hang them and let them air dry. It is also not recommended to iron the printed design.
How to take care of your hoodie or your crewneck?
If you're more a fan of our cozy and warm sweaters, this section is just for you! Did you crab our latest amazing F*ck Yes hoodie or our Abundance is a Mindset polo? Here are our top tips to take care of them like a pro!
We suggest you wash these pieces with moderation. Since fleece is a delicate material, washing it often will have an impact on the garment over time (like pilling for example), even if you follow the manufacturer's instructions to the letter. We suggest that you don't necessarily wash your hoodie or crewnecks after every use. The good news is that since they are often worn over a t-shirt, they will not get dirty as quickly. Keep an eye on it and wash it after a few uses. These are the best ways to keep it clean without shortening its life!
Just like our t-shirts, you should put your hoodie in the washing machine inside out on gentle cycle, in cold water and definitely NOT in the dryer. It is highly recommended to leave it air dry and not to iron the printed pattern.
Oh yes, one last tip! Excess fleece can fall out after the first wash. Don't worry, it’s totally normal with this type of garment! To avoid that the excess fleece sticks to your other clothes in the washing machine, we suggest you to wash your hoodie or crewneck alone on its first wash (and maybe the 2nd time as well if you want to make sure!). After that, everything will okay, I promise!
How to take care of your unique denim jacket?
You've been looking at our denim jackets on our website for a long time and you've finally treated yourself... You finally bought the hand-painted vintage jacket of your dreams! Let me tell you, what you bought is not just a piece of clothing, it's a work of art! So take good care of it!
Each design is hand-painted with long lasting acrylic paint. However, it is strongly advised to avoid washing your jacket frequently; once a season is more than enough. You can put your denim jacket in the washing machine in cold water, ideally alone on gentle cycle. You probably know by now but the dryer is not recommended. We suggest hanging your jacket to leave it air dry and to never iron the hand-painted pattern.
When it comes to vintage jackets with a design made of thermo-transferred vinyl, the same care guidelines apply. However, we also suggest that you avoid high outdoor temperatures and never leave your jacket in the sun during heat waves.
We really hope that this article has given you some good tips on how to take better care of your clothes by La Pimbêche so you can wear them for the longest time!
